AJ's First Day of School - Waiting for the bus

Summer 2007 Update

The summer has ended and boy was it a busy one. Both boys played T-Ball, on The Cubs no less, and AJ continued on with soccer. We also celebrated AJ's 5th Birthday. He had a Top Chef theme party and he made all the food himself. When we asked what his birthday wish was, he said it was for him to celebrate his birthday next year with all his cousins in Chicago. We'll see if we can make that happen. We had lots of visitors including Auntie Meg, Skylar, Nani, PopPop, Grandma Janet and Lola came to celebrate her birthday with us.
Lola's visit was jampacked. We went to a party at one of Albert's co-workers for some incredible homecooked southern food. We went shopping of course and we took a trip to the mountains. We showed her Blowing Rock and went to the park with the actual Blowing Rock which is steeped in indian folklore. The views there were amazing. We also celebrated her birthday. The boys made her a cake and we took her out to dinner for some nice Italian food. We hope to see her and Lolo again this fall.
Coming soon.....The first days of school.
